Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our Subway Sandwich Artist team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry. The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene while delivering a friendly and efficient service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to company recipes and customer preferences
Ensure all food is prepared fresh, presented attractively, and served promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with food safety standards
Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and upselling additional items where appropriate
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, adhering to health and safety regulations
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout shifts
Assist with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining area to uphold hygiene standards
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery

Requirements

Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and portion control
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills for serving customers courteously and effectively
Ability to work well as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently
A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering quality customer service
