Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our premises. The hours are Monday to Friday 4:30-7pm(12.5 hr/ week).The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are tidy, sanitary, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable, but full training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional workspace while working in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise all office surfaces, including desks, chairs, tables, and workstations
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across various office areas
Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste responsibly
Clean windows, glass partitions, and internal glass surfaces as required
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels in washrooms and kitchens
Maintain cleanliness of communal areas including kitchens, break rooms, and reception areas
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
Good organisational skills to manage daily cleaning tasks efficiently
