Longhill High School is seeking an enthusiastic, resilient and caring Inclusion Learning Mentor to join our dedicated Inclusion Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Working closely with students, families, teaching staff and external agencies, you will play a key role in helping students engage positively with school life. You will provide both one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils develop the social, emotional and behavioural skills needed to succeed.
Based primarily within our Focus Centre, you will become a trusted adult for students who require additional support, helping them remain engaged in education and achieve positive outcomes.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with young people in a school, youth work, mentoring or pastoral setting.
Is able to build positive and professional relationships with students.
Can support students who may be facing social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
Is confident delivering one-to-one and small group interventions.
Works well as part of a team and remains calm under pressure.
Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every young person can succeed.
