Join the Catering Team at Odds Farm Park

At Odds Farm Park, we are committed to providing exceptional food and beverage experiences for our guests. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our catering outlets operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes a proactive approach to their work, and is dedicated to creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every visitor.

Working Hours

This position is for 16 hours per week, working 09:30–17:30 on either Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be available, and flexibility is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present food products in accordance with company standards and food safety requirements.
Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to every guest.
Serve food and beverages while maintaining excellent standards of presentation.
Ensure all food preparation, storage, and service areas are kept clean, organised, and hygienic at all times.
Follow all food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
Proactively identify tasks that need attention and support the wider team wherever required.
Assist with stock control, replenishment, and the safe storage of food and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, counters, seating areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high-quality service delivery.
Contribute to a positive team culture and help uphold the professional image of the business.

What We're Looking For:

A genuine passion for customer service and creating positive guest experiences.
A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and support the team.
A strong understanding of the importance of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
A reliable and professional approach to work.
Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and additional shifts when required.
