Full job description

We are seeking a Pharmacy Counter (Healthcare) Assistant at Lords Pharmacy who is motivated, enthusiastic and flexible to work in our pharmacy for an average of 40 hours per week (Monday – Sunday).

We are looking for a hire as follows:

Monday:12pm - 9pm

Wednesday: 10am - 7pm

Thursday: 9am - 5pm

Friday: 12pm - 9pm

Sunday: 9am - 7pm

Hourly Rate: Will meet National Living Wage Requirements. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Pharmacy Assistants core duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Driving sales. This is a key feature of the job whereby candidates need to be motivated to upsell, link sell and enjoy a challenge.
Promotion and sharing of Pharmacy NHS and Private services.
Enjoy helping customers across the medicine counter.
Participating in the Healthy Living promotion and pharmacy services so our clients get the best experience.
Promote and deliver blood pressure services by actively encouraging patients to have their blood pressure checked within the pharmacy.
As the first point of contact for clients, except prescriptions at reception and direct to the dispensary to process.
Organise product displays and arrange all ordering and stock for the shop floor.
Maintaining shop cleanliness, date checking.

Sales driven, promptness, patience, trust and excellent communication and listening skills are all valuable attributes.

If you are a qualified dispenser you are welcome to apply for this role, however your role will be on the counter primarily. If you are already trained on the pharmacy counter please apply within.
