£31,200 basic Plus additional £5200 Per Annum for sleep ins (two sleep-ins per week paid @ £50)

The Role

As a Therapeutic Support Worker you'll help create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic home where children can thrive.

You'll:

Build trusting, positive relationships with children.
Support children's emotional, educational and day-to-day needs.
Promote independence and life skills.
Encourage positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches.
Work alongside families and professionals.
Maintain accurate records and safeguard children at all times.
Help create a warm, welcoming and homely environment.

Essential

Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
Good communication skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins

Desirable

Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve it)
Experience in residential childcare, education, youth work or social care
Understanding of trauma-informed practice or therapeutic care. These criteria are condensed directly from the person specification.
