Full job description

X2 (UK) Ltd, part of the northstarr Group is a 4PL logistics business that provides managed transport solutions to a wide range of customers in manufacturing, retail and Logistics. X2 can fulfil customer’s distribution needs from a single pallet to a complete nationwide distribution service.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced "Progress coordinator" to join our existing operations team within a busy subcontract haulage operation.

Main Duties:

Manage all daily transport movements,

Ensure all collections and deliveries are on schedule in line with customer expectations,

Be first point of contact for all haulier communications,

Highlight any discrepancies at collection / delivery

Track all work through TMS system,

Monitor site rules and Health & Safety procedures,

Manage customer SOPs,

Escalate any issues

Update and manage issues log,

Communicate by phone, email,

Work closely with the broker team,

Desired Experience:

A good knowledge of the UK,

A background in transport / haulage,

Experience working within logistics environment,

Exposure to a face passed environment,

An understanding of vehicle types & driver hours,

An outstanding communicator,

Good administrative skills,

A knowledge of TMS systems,

Experience working with sub-contractors,

The role is predominantly Monday – Friday, operating hours 08:00 - 17:00

Pay: £33,000.00 per year
