Are you looking to start or grow your career in construction and mechanical services? Do you enjoy being hands-on, working as part of a team, and contributing to major infrastructure projects?

We're looking for a motivated HVAC Mate to join our team and play an important role supporting the installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems on a large-scale project. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience alongside skilled HVAC professionals while developing your knowledge and skills in a fast-paced construction environment.

What you'll be doing

As an HVAC Mate, you'll work closely with experienced tradespeople, helping to deliver high-quality HVAC installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the installation of ductwork, ventilation systems and associated equipment
Preparing materials, including measuring, cutting and assembling components
Moving and handling tools, materials and equipment safely across site
Supporting the positioning and securing of ductwork and mechanical systems
Following drawings, instructions and guidance from supervisors and skilled trades
Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure they are safe and ready for use

Who we're looking for

Essential

CSCS Card (or equivalent)
Experience working within a construction or site-based environment
Basic understanding of mechanical or HVAC installation activities
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable

Experience supporting HVAC or mechanical installation teams
Manual handling training
Experience working on major infrastructure, energy or industrial projects
Knowledge of ductwork systems and installation processes
