Full job description

Job Summary

Meister Masonry is looking for a reliable and hardworking Semi-Skilled Labourer to join our team at our modern production facility in Gloucestershire.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with practical experience who is confident using tools and working in a busy construction or manufacturing environment. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a mechanical or electrical background, with an interest in developing their skills further. Experience within stonemasonry, construction, landscaping or a similar industry would be advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting our stonemasons and production team with day-to-day tasks.
Moving, handling and preparing stone and other materials.
Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Loading and unloading materials and maintaining an organised working area.
Carrying out general labouring and practical tasks across the workshop and yard.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, health and safety.
Working as part of a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Practical, reliable and hardworking.
Preferably experienced in mechanical or electrical work.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Confident using basic hand and power tools.
Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Safety-conscious with a positive attitude towards work.
Willing to learn new skills and develop within the business.
Previous experience in construction, masonry, manufacturing or a similar environment is desirable.
Full Driving Licence Required
Forklift Licence Preferable
