Full job description

Overview

We are seeking an HCPC‑registered Physiotherapist with strong clinical assessment skills and hands‑on expertise in therapeutic massage to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence‑based physiotherapy interventions, support patients through rehabilitation programmes, and apply advanced manual therapy techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional assessments to diagnose patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
Deliver a range of physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, soft‑tissue massage, sports massage, joint mobilisation, and exercise prescription.
Create and monitor rehabilitation programmes for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions.
Use clinical reasoning to adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and best‑practice guidelines.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in line with HCPC and CSP standards.
Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, ergonomics, and long‑term self‑management strategies.
Collaborate with GPs, consultants, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Uphold high standards of professionalism, safeguarding, and patient confidentiality.
Participate in CPD activities to maintain HCPC registration and stay current with emerging physiotherapy practices.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist (mandatory).
Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc).
Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation principles.
Demonstrated experience in massage therapy (sports massage, deep tissue, remedial massage, or similar).
Excellent communication, patient engagement, and clinical reasoning skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to evidence‑based practice and ongoing professional development.

Desirable Experience

CSP membership.
Experience in private practice, sports injury clinics, NHS MSK services, or community settings.
Additional certifications in manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, kinesiology taping, or Pilates.
Experience working with athletes or high‑performance clients.
