About Us

Dentalessence is a well-established, family-owned dental group operating five modern practices across West Sussex. We are committed to delivering outstanding patient care in a welcoming, professional environment and are seeking an organised and motivated Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Sompting practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with strong organisational and leadership skills to join a growing dental organisation.

The Role

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of the Sompting practice, ensuring high standards of patient care, operational performance and regulatory compliance.

Working closely with the Principal Dentist and senior management team, you will lead the practice team, oversee business operations and drive continuous improvement across the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the practice.
Lead and support reception and administrative staff.
Coordinate staffing, rotas and recruitment.
Monitor operational performance and key performance indicators.
Ensure compliance with CQC requirements, health and safety legislation, GDPR and practice policies.
Oversee patient experience, responding to feedback and resolving complaints professionally.
Monitor budgets, stock control and supplier relationships.
Produce management reports and support business planning.
Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and patient service.

About You

Essential

Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience in operations, healthcare, practice administration or business management.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Strong leadership and people management ability.
Commercial awareness and sound IT skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.Desirable
MBA or postgraduate management qualification.
