Full job description

At BCHA, we're more than a housing association. We're a charity supporting individuals and families across the South of England to build stability, independence and opportunity. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical team and help ensure our homes and accommodation remain safe, compliant and well maintained for our residents.

Position:

Reporting to the Repairs Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a team of electricians, ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of electrical services across BCHA properties. This includes planned and reactive maintenance, testing and inspection, improvement works, fault diagnosis, installations and compliance activities.

As Electrical Supervisor, you will:

Lead, motivate and develop a team of electricians.
Ensure compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and all statutory electrical requirements.
Oversee electrical testing, inspections, EICRs and certification.
Carry out quality audits and inspections of electrical work.
Act as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and support annual assessments.
Manage work programmes, contractor performance and work-in-progress.
Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures.
Work collaboratively with customer services and other trade supervisors to deliver excellent customer outcomes. [Electrical...Supervisor | Word]

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2
City & Guilds 2391 & 2392 Inspection and Testing
City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
Full UK driving licence
Significant experience as a qualified electrician and the ability to demonstrate experience or potential in a supervisory role.
