We are looking for a self-driven, passionate and committed Registered Manager to lead our established domiciliary care service based in Bognor Regis.
This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced management team. You will work alongside another Registered Manager who leads our Supported Living services (joint registration). Whilst each of you will have responsibility for your own regulated service, you will work closely together, supporting each other, sharing best practice and ensuring continuity across our community services.
This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step into registration, or an existing Registered Manager looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking organisation. We will fully support you through the CQC registration process, providing mentoring from our experienced leadership team and fellow Registered Managers. Once successfully registered with CQC, your salary will increase to £37,440
Purpose/Mission of the Role
To fulfil the role of Registered Manager by managing the daily running of a busy domiciliary care service, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
You will be responsible for delivering outstanding, person-centred care within people's own homes, maintaining compliance with CQC regulations, achieving KPI targets and supporting the continued growth and development of the service.
We work in a very collaborative way to offer support to our managers through monthly management meetings, regular leadership development, support from our Nominated Individual, Operations Manager and fellow Registered Managers. We share ideas, learn from one another and work together to continually improve our services.

As Registered Manager your role will include:
- Ensuring all appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings are attended and referrals, notifications and safeguarding concerns are managed appropriately.
- Ensuring all care plans are person-centred, outcome focused and reviewed regularly.
- Supporting service users to achieve their personal goals whilst promoting independence, dignity and positive risk taking.
- Ensuring safe systems of work are maintained and all quality and safety checks are completed.
- Proactively identifying shortcomings and areas for improvement and implementing actions to address these.
- Maintaining KPI performance to a green standard wherever possible.
- Engaging in provider audits and internal quality assurance processes to achieve a minimum rating of Good.
- Ensuring staffing levels and rotas are appropriate to meet the needs of the people we support.
- Working closely with the joint/Co Registered Manager for Supported Living to provide support during annual leave, service pressures and periods of business growth.
- Promoting and developing positive internal and external relationships with commissioners, healthcare professionals, local authorities, service users and their families.
- Being accessible and approachable to everyone who uses, works within or visits the service, ensuring your conduct reflects the values of Ashton Care.
- Ensuring team meetings, supervisions, competency assessments and appraisals are organised, completed and documented.
- Attending training, forums, webinars and reviewing current industry trends to ensure early identification of best practice and changing requirements, supporting the team to implement these effectively.
- Ensuring training and career development opportunities are identified for all team members, supporting progression through achievable development plans.
- Working alongside HR to support recruitment, induction, buddying and retention of new team members.
- Working proactively with commissioners, hospitals and community professionals to develop relationships, promote the service and support sustainable growth.
- Completing assessments for prospective service users in a timely manner and ensuring packages of care are mobilised safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring quality through audits, spot checks, observations and service reviews, ensuring any actions identified are completed promptly.
- Attending management meetings and ensuring all assigned actions are completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintaining or exceeding KPI targets at least 90% of the time.
- Identifying and addressing performance concerns where team members do not demonstrate the company's ethos, values or expected standards.
- Supporting continuous improvement across both community services by sharing ideas, best practice and learning with the wider management team.
- To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.

Experience
- Registered Manager or Deputy Manager (2 years minimum)

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)

Pay: £38,090.00-£43,000.00 per year
