regular pay reviews)

Our Whitwick Day Nursery in Coalville is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Lunch Cover to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery
Friendly, welcoming nursery in the heart of Whitwick, based in a beautifully refurbished former primary school with a convenient central location for local families.
Large outdoor area featuring climbing frames, slides, a mud kitchen, and a growing garden where children love planting, exploring, and learning through play.
Strong community focus with regular local outings that encourage children to explore their surroundings, develop confidence, and build a sense of belonging.
Four dedicated playrooms tailored to each stage of development, from babies through to preschool, helping children build confidence, independence, and key life skills.
What you will be doing

Supervise and support children at all times
Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners
Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment for the children
Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and colleagues
Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
