We are seeking an experienced senior baker to join our team at a Little Blondie Bakehouse in York city centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and baking a variety of buns, cakes, traybake's, brownies and other baked goods
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Ensuring all products are of the highest quality and meet our standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Following all health and safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a baker
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, recipes, and ingredients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends, although we are very flexible at giving time off where needed.
