Role Overview
This is a mobile engineering role covering the SE London area, supporting a portfolio of high‑profile clients.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance services, ensuring compliance, and consistently working to the highest professional and technical standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality maintenance services to our clients, consistently delivering work to the highest standards.
- Use initiative to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues relating to reactive maintenance.
- Source parts and materials, including obtaining technical support from manufacturers when required.
- Complete detailed job write‑ups to keep clients informed at all stages.
- Deliver all works within agreed timescales and in line with current regulations and contract specifications.
- Maintain accurate records including O&M logs, risk control measures, and compliance documentation.
- Use PDAs/electronic systems to log and complete tasks.
- Work closely with the Helpdesk to ensure rapid response and completion of assigned works.
- Conduct point‑of‑work risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
- Represent the company professionally, engaging with a variety of clients daily.
- Participate in the on‑call rota across assigned contracts.

Skills & Experience RequiredEssential
- Customer‑focused with strong practical problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills — confident dealing with clients and internal teams
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment
- Collaborative attitude with a commitment to team success
- Relevant trade qualification (C&G or NVQ Level 2 or Level 3)
- Minimum 3 years’ building maintenance experience, specifically in reactive and remedial maintenance
- Broad knowledge of building systems, including:
- Carpentry
- Wet trades
- Minor plumbing
- Tiling
- Groundworks
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) or equivalent qualification
- Fire compartmentation experience
- IOSH Working Safely or CSCS card
- IT skills including PDA usage
- Asbestos Awareness (UKATA)
- CSR/CSCS H&S certification
