The Early Years Educator will serve as an Early Years Teacher on a 2-month contract with a local authority. The role involves delivering a high-quality learning environment that stimulates, challenges, and supports children's interests while meeting their individual developmental needs. The educator will contribute to creating an engaging Early Years curriculum that enables children aged 2–5 to achieve at or above expected levels across all areas of learning.

Oversee the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for children aged 2–5.

Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a high-quality curriculum rooted in anti-discriminatory practice.

Provide stimulating, challenging, and engaging learning experiences tailored to children’s needs and interests.

Act as a key person for an allocated group of children.

Assess and monitor children’s development through observations, achievement recording, and maintaining high-quality developmental records.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working directly with children under 5 in a group daycare environment.

Experience working effectively as part of a team in a childcare or early years setting.

Experience using IT systems and digital tools relevant to childcare practice.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a registered Teacher Reference Number.

Enhanced DBS check (satisfactory).

Demonstrable knowledge of EYFS and child development principles.

Working hours: 30 hours per week
