Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Jobbing Bricklayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of bricklaying tasks on diverse projects, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work on a range of building and repair projects, contributing to the realisation of durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in masonry and related trades.
Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to specified plans and standards
- Mix mortar and prepare materials required for bricklaying tasks
- Use hand tools such as trowels, levels, and hammers efficiently and safely
- Operate power tools including drills, saws, and grinders for cutting and shaping
- Perform basic groundwork duties, lay slabs, pavers , steps , kerbs etc.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised work site, including the safe storage of tools and materials
Skills
- Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or similar trades
- Proficiency with hand tools used in bricklaying and masonry work
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods

All candidates must possess a current CSCS card and current driving licence ( van and fuel card provided )

Pay: £12.90-£32.07 per hour
