Malavenda Café in London is currently seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie with strong experience in tapas, creative aperitivo dishes, brunch service, and solid knowledge of Italian cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team.
About the Role
We are looking for a professional who:
- Has proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar position
- Is skilled in preparing tapas, small plates, and gourmet aperitivo options
- Has strong experience in brunch service (eggs, modern breakfast plates, light lunch dishes)
- Has good knowledge of traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine
- Demonstrates excellent plating and presentation skills
- Works efficiently under pressure while maintaining high quality standards
- Is organized, reliable, and a strong team player
- Has solid knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and running your assigned section independently
- Preparing mise en place for brunch and aperitivo service
- Ensuring smooth execution of brunch, tapas, and evening service
- Contributing creative ideas inspired by Italian and Mediterranean cuisine
- Maintaining consistency, quality control, and kitchen standards
