The ideal candidate will receive a hands on training course, provided by the business to get the trainee up to speed on hand soldering and Electronic Product Assembly to cover principals of surface mount and through hole part placement.
Following soldering training, you will be trained by our in house team on our company processes and procedures, this will cover many of the responsibilities listed below.
ROLE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOLLOWING TRAINING:
- To work on the assembly line to produce quality Electronic Assembly to IPC-A-610 standards to cover:
- PCB Assembly – through hole and Surface Mount
- To work to set deadlines as specified by the Team Leader.
- Be proficient in hand soldering
- To inspect work and carry out basic test where appropriate.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
- Follow Parts lists and AP’s to exact instruction.
- Apply full component value and polarity knowledge for accurate placement.
- Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction is met.
- Responsible for general housekeeping in own working area as well as communal areas.
- Be aware of health and safety requirements within the manufacturing division and take responsibility for own personal work station.
- Operate machinery in line with operation instructions (re flow oven, cable cutting machine, etc)
- Pasting of boards using a solder paste stencil.
- To complete cable and product assembly where appropriate.
