Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our café. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces.
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system efficiently.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in customer service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and beverage service.

Pay: £12.21-£14.41 per hour
