MCS Renovations is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Builder with strong multitrade experience including plastering/ plaster boarding to join our growing team on ongoing residential projects in the Ashford/KT20 area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated tradesperson who is confident carrying out a variety of building tasks, with a strong ability in plasterboarding and plastering, while also taking responsibility for leading and organising work on site where required.
We are specifically looking for someone with a strong background in domestic construction and general building. The successful candidate must be confident with plasterboarding and plastering, alongside other general building and multitrade skills, to help drive projects forward while maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
What We Offer

Duties
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform a variety of construction tasks
- Carry out plasterboarding and plastering works to a high standard
- Undertake general building works including carpentry, roofing, repairs and structural alterations
- Install and repair structures including walls, roofs and flooring
- Fabricate components where required, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications
- Coordinate and lead work on site to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Collaborate effectively with other trades and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and site health and safety requirements
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Builder or Multi-Trader within the domestic construction sector
- Strong plasterboarding and plastering experience is essential
- Strong understanding of domestic extensions, refurbishments and renovation projects
- Experience leading or supervising work on site is highly desirable
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials and building regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely
- Experience with roofing, plumbing, framing, carpentry and general building works is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred

You will be a dependable, hard-working professional who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship. You will be confident completing plasterboarding and plastering works, while also being able to assist with a variety of other building tasks across residential refurbishment, extension and renovation projects.
You will be comfortable working as part of a team, communicating with clients and trades, and helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
