Early Years Practitioner - Preschool Term Time Only
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Practitioner to work as part of our team at St Bernadette's Bees Preschool to start as soon as possible.
Our setting is situated in Farnborough and care for children from 2 years of age.
Successful candidates will:
- Holds a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Has a genuine passion for early childhood education
- Provide an interesting and stimulating environment for the children
- Communicates clearly and professionally with children, families, and colleagues
- Take on the role of Key Person for up to eight children, ensuring consistent emotional support, secure attachments, and clear communication with parents and carers
- Is reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a small team
- Understands the importance of inclusive practice and child‑centred provision
- Is confident in supporting children with emerging or identified additional needs
- Play inside and out everyday
- Have excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Be First Aid trained (desirable)
We are a term time setting and the hours will be 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday 08:15–15:15 until July 2027.
For the right candidate, we may be able to offer hours beyond the end‑point of this vacancy, depending on the working pattern taken up by the returning practitioner.
