We’re delighted to be recruiting a casual bar and outlets assistant, to support growing team during busy periods on a 0 hours basis. Hours are flexible, we are looking for individuals who have availability during the week and at weekends. As part of your role, you may be required to assist in other departments dependent on business needs.
As a Casual Bar and Outlets Assistant, you are responsible for serving food and drinks in the bar and many outlets across the park. You will be expected to maintain high standards of food hygiene to ensure visitor satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Take food and drink orders in a busy environment, ensuring attention to detail.
- Efficiently serving visitors a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Cellar work, the ability to change barrels and manage issues should they arise.
- Checking ID and challenging age where necessary.
- Maintaining high levels of professionalism.
- Preparing, cooking and serving food to visitors, maintaining high standards of food hygiene.
- Taking cash and card payments.
- Restocking outlets and bars with supplies, storing these correctly and in-line with food-hygiene requirements.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace, bar area, store, fridges.
- Dealing with any issues that may arise in a calm and professional manner.
- Working as part of a team, and at an individual level.
- Supporting the needs of other outlets and on some occasions teams, as and when required.
- Any other duties as requested by your manager.
Essential
- A keen interest in a hospitality role.
- Previous experience in a bar role, including cellar work.
- The ability to communicate effectively, and work effectively, in a team environment.
- A willingness to learn and actively participate in personal and professional development.
- ICT literacy and numeracy skills.
- Relevant food handling experiences in similar environments.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role and / or environment.
- An understanding of Food Hygiene, requirements and importance.
- Barista trained.
Due to the nature of our business, you may be required to work in other departments during busy periods. Due to the serving of alcohol, you must be at least 18 to apply.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
