Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The successful candidate will provide professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and specialised nail treatments. The Nail Technician will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and client satisfaction while promoting our range of beauty services.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art
- Provide personalised consultations to recommend suitable treatments and colours based on client preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure clients are comfortable and satisfied with their treatments, offering advice on nail care and maintenance
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry
- Promote additional services and retail products to maximise client engagement and sales
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in a professional salon environment
- Proficiency in makeup application is desirable but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide clear advice
- Ability to work well within a team whilst maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cosmetic treatments
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure high-quality results for each client
