Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and assisting with food and beverage service. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to ensure a positive dining experience
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and plating in accordance with restaurant standards
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Support kitchen staff with basic culinary tasks and meal preparation as required
- Handle delivery orders, ensuring accurate and timely service when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations
- Uphold food safety standards by following hygiene protocols and proper handling procedures
- Manage phone etiquette professionally when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles such as barista, culinary, or hotel experience
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation and handling
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food delivery services is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly
- Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude towards guest services and serving duties
- Good phone etiquette for reservations, inquiries, and order taking
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation processes are desirable

Pay: £12.21-£15.42 per hour
