You might be exactly who we need to join our friendly team! We are looking for a dedicated and experienced childcare practitoner to become our new Toddler Room Leader and Deputy Manager. You won't be alone though, you have 2 other brilliant Deputy Managers, plus the wonderful Preschool Room Leader, as well an excellent Manager and an Area Manager to support you throughout your role.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager and Area Manager in overseeing the smooth running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and policies.
- Support staff in your room with delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children.
- Supervise daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and nap times, maintaining a safe and caring environment.
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent communication skills with children, parents, and team members.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance (we call them Learning Journeys!).
- Ensure health and safety procedures are rigorously followed at all times
Qualifications and Role Requirements - Essential
- Childcare qualifications such as Level 3 in Childcare, Play Learning and Development (or equivalent)
- Experience working in childcare/with children
Qualifications and Role Requirements - Desirable
- Management experience within a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Knowledge of nursery regulations and safeguarding policies
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Pay: £40,950.00 per year
