We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new children's residential home.

About the Opportunity:
As our Registered Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life. You'll oversee the home's registration, recruit and develop an exceptional staff team, and create a warm, stable environment where children can feel safe, valued, and supported to reach their potential.
You'll be backed by an experienced and supportive senior leadership team who understand residential childcare and are committed to investing in both the home and the people who work within it.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the successful registration and opening of a new children's home.
- Building, inspiring, and developing a skilled and motivated team.
- Creating a positive, therapeutic, and child-focused culture.
- Ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with Ofsted, local authorities, and partner agencies.
- Driving high standards of care, safeguarding, and continuous improvement.
- Managing budgets, occupancy, staffing, and overall performance.
- Championing positive outcomes for every child in your care.
About You
You'll already have experience managing a children's residential home and understand what it takes to deliver safe, effective, and outstanding care.
You'll be someone who leads by example, inspires confidence in others, and believes that every child deserves consistency, stability, and the opportunity to succeed.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Manager experience within a children's residential setting.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards if eligible).
- Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding legislation.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
