Site Installations Engineer
Location: Scotland (with UK-wide travel and nights away)
Pay: £17 – £26 per hour (dependent on experience, qualifications & suitability)
Minimum 40 hours per week + overtime available
Our client, a growing specialist within modular and site welfare solutions, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Installations Engineer to join their established and expanding projects team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business operating across major Tier 1 construction sites, delivering high-quality installations of newly manufactured welfare, accommodation, and modular units across a range of industry sectors.
The role is predominantly field-based, offering a varied workload, strong earning potential through overtime, and excellent additional benefits including full travel support and accommodation coverage.
The Role
As a Site Installations Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Installing modular, welfare, and accommodation units on active construction sites
- Working on Tier 1 projects across multiple sectors
- Carrying out planned maintenance in line with schedules
- Responding to reactive breakdowns and on-site issues
- Interpreting lift plans, method statements, and technical drawings
- Working closely with an established projects team and subcontractors
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and site professionalism

About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
- 2–3+ years’ experience in a similar industry (modular, plant, construction, installations, or site-based engineering)
- NVQ in Joinery, Electrical, Lifting Operations, or multiple relevant disciplines (desirable)
- CSCS card (minimum requirement)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, lift plans, and method statements
- A strong, hands-on approach and good physical capability (due to the nature of site work)
- Willingness to work away from home at short notice
- Flexibility to work overtime and additional hours when required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, including alongside subcontractors
- A strong understanding of safe working practices and site standards
- A professional approach with a strong focus on customer service
