Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, handling materials, and supporting logistics operations within a workshop and stores environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with good organisational skills who is adaptable and able to learn about the products and hardware that we use. Experience with electrical/electronic parts and equipment is preferable.
Duties
- Manage stock levels
- Goods in duties
- Handle materials, including loading, unloading and packing goods
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Organise stock storage areas for optimal accessibility and safety
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies
Experience
- Organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management tasks
This role requires a proactive individual capable of working within a team environment across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will possess good aptitude, be physically fit, and demonstrate strong organisational skills.
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
