Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Cleaner to join our team.
Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm.
This role is Temp to permanent, the role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. It would be suitable for someone seeking part-time employment, with opportunities to go permanent.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in commercial settings, including offices.
- utilise cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces as required
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all cleaning materials are stored safely and correctly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself courteously when interacting with clients or visitors
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
