About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team within a fast paced food production environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
As our Production Manager, you will:
- Lead day to day production operations to meet output, quality, and cost targets.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards (HACCP, BRC, GMP).
- Manage production teams, providing coaching, support, and performance development.
- Work closely with Operations manager to maintain smooth communication across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyse KPIs such as OEE, yield, and downtime to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for senior management.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Production Manager or senior supervisory role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety and audit standards (HACCP, BRC).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high speed production environment.
- Strong problem solving ability with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Confident using production data, KPIs, and ERP systems.

Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in Food Science, Operations Management, Engineering, or similar (preferred but not essential).
- Lean / Six Sigma experience.
- Experience with automated production lines or high-volume manufacturing.
