We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Applying paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with precision and care
- Ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality expectations
- Managing tools and materials effectively to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and team members to understand project requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout each project
- Assisting with colour selection and providing advice on decorating options when required
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating techniques
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard of craftsmanship
- Good communication skills in English for liaising with clients and team members
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications accurately
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting tools and materials between sites
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
