Summary
We are seeking a Taekwondo Instructor to join our team at Camp Elite in SE18. This role is vital in helping us promote physical activity, discipline, and confidence among our young campers through engaging martial arts sessions. The instructor will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for children.
Dates: July 27th-30th & August 10th-13th 2026
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging Taekwondo classes tailored for children aged 4-12.
- Promote safety and discipline during all activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment encouraging individual growth.
- Collaborate with other instructors to develop stimulating martial arts programs.
- Ensure all activities align with the camp’s educational and fun objectives.
- Provide feedback on camper progress and participation.
- Maintain equipment and ensure the safety of all participants.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or coaching martial arts, particularly Taekwondo.
- Strong communication skills suitable for working with children.
- Ability to create an engaging and safe learning environment.
- Relevant certifications in martial arts instruction.
- Enthusiasm for working with children in a summer camp setting.
- Ability to promote inclusivity and respect among diverse groups.
- Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable.
