Please read - This is not your average barista job
We are searching for full time and part time roles with us at CURBSIDE.
These are almost all Monday to Friday hours and will be 7-8 hour shifts between the hours of 6:30am and 4:30pm.
Whilst most shifts will be weekdays there will be ad hoc weekends around major University events.
A bit about CURBSIDE..
CURBSIDE is built on three fundamental principles quality, convenience, and experience.
We care about making very good coffee and doing it consistently.
But the role itself is about more than coffee.
Most of the day is spent talking to people. Regulars, first timers, passers by. The job suits someone who naturally finds people interesting and enjoys being a small part of their day. That is a big reason this role is enjoyable and a big part of what CURBSIDE is about.

The role..
- Make consistently good coffee - Best beans provided!
- Spend the day chatting with regulars, newcomers, and anyone passing by who fancies a chat
- Keep the spaces clean, organised, and presentable
Who this is for..
This is a barista role and a minimum of 1 year barista experience is required, and 1 -2 years of hospitality experience desirable.
You do not need to be a coffee geek, but you do need to enjoy people. If you are curious, comfortable with conversation, and like the idea of making a positive contribution to someone’s day, this role will suit you.
You will often be working independently, so confidence and reliability matter.
The practical bits..
- Pay £13.50 per hour
- Shifts 7-8 hours, primarily Monday to Friday with some weekend events throughout the year.
- Perks unlimited caffeine and plenty of cake.
