Carpenter / Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing construction team. The role will focus on kitchen and bathroom fitting, along with general building and maintenance work on domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install kitchens, bathrooms, and associated fittings.
- Carry out first and second fix carpentry.
- Fit stud walls, flooring, skirting, architraves, and doors.
- Assist with general building works and minor alterations.
- Work with other trades to complete projects to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms.
- Strong carpentry skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in other trades such as plastering, tiling, roofing, or general building.
- Knowledge of domestic refurbishment projects.
- Ability to read plans and drawings.

Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install kitchen units, cabinets, and related fixtures with precision.
- Fabricate bespoke carpentry components to specifications using various hand tools and power tools.
- Perform joinery tasks including fitting doors, drawers, and shelving systems.
- Conduct roofing repairs or installations as required within project scope.
- Assist with masonry, plumbing, electrical work, or construction painting when necessary to support broader project needs.
- Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and installation of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency on site.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met within deadlines.
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or kitchen fitting is essential.
- Skilled in fabrication, assembly, and installation of kitchen units or similar fixtures.
- Proficient with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
- Knowledge of roofing techniques, masonry work, plumbing systems, electrical experience or construction painting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the course of projects.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites. Candidates should possess a good eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Pay: £160.00-£215.00 per day
