Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing valuable skills within the care sector.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility and daily routines in accordance with care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and clients
- Help with feeding as required
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including infection control measures
Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with residents, families, and team members
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary
