Duties and Responsibilities:
- Picking customer orders from order sheets, labelling and checking against manifests.
- Occasional collection and moving of stock to and from local warehousing units.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm (some overtime and weekend work required).
Bonus :
Performance related bonus after probation period.
Health and safety:
- Be responsible as far as is reasonably practicable for your own health and safety, and the health, safety and welfare of other people.
- Compliance with the company’s health and safety statement.
Experience and Education:
- 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
- 2 years of logistics preferred.
- Forklift licence preferred but training can be provided.
- Experienced in undertaking a range of duties but training will be given.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Good IT and numerical skills.
Skills and Abilities:
- To have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, picking and packing of orders.
- Ability to work well under pressure, take direction and to accurately follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a team and under own initiative.
- A flexible, friendly approach with a team focus and can-do attitude.
