Job Overview
We’re looking for a passionate Room Leader to join our friendly team at Tiny Willow Nursery. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) within a supportive environment that values high-quality childcare and early education. A £200 starting bonus is offered to successful candidates.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead, mentor, support, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure all children in the room progress and achieve their individual developmental milestones
- Promote and uphold child welfare at all times
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
- Work collaboratively to meet the unique needs of each child
What We’re Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years
- Previous experience in an Early Years setting (e.g., Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar roles)
- Genuine passion for creating engaging, fun, and inclusive learning environments
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Solid knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and broader legal requirements when working with children
- Ability to build trust and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and parents/carers
- Skilled in using a range of communication techniques with both children and adults
Salary & Benefits
- £29000 – £33,000 per annum (depending on qualification and experience)
- £200 starting bonus
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
