What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out professional painting and decorating to Bell’s high standards.
- Working on Damp & Mould Social Housing contracts across the Region
- Preparing and repairing surfaces, calculating materials, and advising on colours and finishes.
- Applying a range of decorative finishes including wallpaper, fabric, paint, stains, and varnishes.
- Using access equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is completed snag-free and on time.
- Working in both occupied homes and void properties.
- Engaging positively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction.
Who We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years’ painting experience
- NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating
- Valid CSCS card and own painting tools
- Proven damp and mould repair experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to snag own work
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Comfortable working at height and following health & safety protocols
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Clean DBS check
Desirable:
- IPAF or PASMA certifications
- Ames Taping experience
- Basic IT skills (for reporting via handheld device)
- Experience in social housing environments
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a customer-first approach
