Bar Staff
The Guildhall Village is a vibrant and welcoming pub located in the heart of Portsmouth. Known for our exceptional service, cosy atmosphere, and an extensive selection of drinks and food, we pride ourselves on creating a memorable experience for our customers. We are now looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team as bar staff.
As a member of our bar staff, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have a fantastic time at The Guildhall Village. Your responsibilities will include greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner, taking orders and processing payments, and preparing and serving drinks, including cocktails, beers, and wines. Additionally, you will ensure the bar and dining areas are clean and well-maintained, assist with restocking, and provide exceptional customer service while handling any inquiries or complaints. You will also support your colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
We are looking for candidates with previous experience in a similar role, although it is not essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with a positive attitude and a passion for customer service. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and possibly holidays. Being a team player who is willing to go the extra mile is essential for this role.
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join The Guildhall Village team as bar staff, with multiple positions available and the role expected to be filled by the beginning of September ahead of the next University year starting in mid September. Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
