The Opportunity
We're looking for an ambitious and driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional sales performance.
As an Area Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of a designated territory, developing and implementing strategic sales plans to grow market share and achieve business objectives. You'll play a key role in strengthening existing customer relationships while actively seeking out new opportunities to drive business growth.
This role will cover the West London / Berkshire area.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will:
Manage and develop an allocated sales territory to achieve sales and growth targets.
Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing customers, delivering outstanding service and support.
Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share.
Develop and implement effective territory sales plans aligned with business objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges.
Use market intelligence to influence sales strategies and contribute to wider business planning.
Regularly review sales performance, taking proactive action to maximise results.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market updates for senior management.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers receive the highest level of service and support.
We're looking for someone who:
Has a proven track record in field sales or territory management.
Is highly motivated with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
Has excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
Can identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and market insight.
Is organised, self-motivated, and able to manage their own workload effectively.
Has strong analytical skills and can use data to drive decision-making.
Is confident presenting information and providing regular sales updates and forecasts.
Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel across the designated territory.
