Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role involves working in a nursery environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children while fostering their development through engaging activities. The Nursery Practitioner will communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues whilst demonstrating qualities to create a nurturing atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Take part in daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with children to support their emotional and social growth.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of childcare.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings.
- Uphold health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- A level 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Education is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work within a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to engage children in meaningful play and learning experiences.
- A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to children's welfare.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances within the nursery environment.
