Trainee Estimator
Wisbech | Full-time
Floorspan Contracts is a leading specialist in the design, manufacture, and installation of precast concrete flooring solutions, and is recognised as one of the largest providers in the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a motivated Trainee Estimator to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team in Wisbech.

The Role
As a Trainee Estimator, you will contribute towards delivering high-quality precast flooring solutions, working closely with customers, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Under the guidance of the Estimating Team, prepare estimates and designs for pre-Stressed concrete floors based on information provided by the customer and other third-party design professionals.
- With support, use design & pricing software to produce pre-cast concrete flooring designs and mark-ups.
- Liaise with construction professionals, contractors and customers during the estimating process regarding technical and practical points relevant to the project.
- Ensure that accurate and up-to-date project administration is adhered to at all times.
About You

You will ideally bring:
- Previous experience in estimating, design, or order management within a construction or engineering environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic attitude.
Desirable (but not essential):
- A relevant qualification in Construction, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience using AutoCAD or Revit
- Knowledge of construction detailing and materials
- Familiarity with PDF scaling
Location Requirement
Candidates must live within a 25-mile radius of Wisbech and be able to commute to the office.
