Hours (weekly): 18 hours
Working Week: 38 weeks

Information about the vacancy
We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children to thrive. The successful candidate will have a genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs and will understand the importance of building positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
You will need to be calm, flexible and resilient, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs. We are seeking someone who can work as part of a team, communicate effectively with colleagues and professionals, and use their initiative when supporting children on a 1-to-1 basis..
Experience of working with children with special educational needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, social and emotional needs, or learning difficulties, would be advantageous, although a willingness to learn and undertake further training is equally important.
Above all, we are looking for someone who believes that every child can succeed and who is committed to creating an inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued and able to achieve their potential. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, positivity and a sense of fun to the role whilst maintaining high expectations for all pupils.
