PPM Administrator / Maintenance Assistant
Location: Basildon (Office Based)
Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday
Position: Temp to Perm
We are currently looking for an experienced PPM Administrator / Assistant to join a well-established company based in Basildon.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a PPM, Facilities Management, Maintenance, or Service Administration role
- Strong understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive maintenance processes
- Experience booking and coordinating engineer call-outs
- Ability to manage maintenance schedules and ensure service visits are completed on time
- Liaising with engineers, clients, and suppliers regarding maintenance works
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate service records
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and office management systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Duties:
- Managing and updating PPM schedules
- Coordinating reactive maintenance requests
- Booking engineers and arranging site visits
- Liaising with clients, engineers, and subcontractors
- Raising work orders and monitoring job progress
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring service reports are received and filed
- Supporting the operations team with day-to-day administrative tasks
Package:
- Temporary Rate: £17.00 per hour (Umbrella)
- Permanent Salary: £30,000 per annum
- Permanent position offered following a successful temporary period of three months
