Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of service are maintained. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence, fostering a positive environment for both staff and customers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and manage staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Train and mentor team members to uphold service standards and enhance their skills.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to maintain adequate supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
- Prepare reports on operational performance and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality is preferred but not essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficient in basic computer applications for reporting and communication purposes.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making abilities.
