September 2026 - Male Teaching Assistant (LSA) – Immediate Start – Hackney
We are seeking a male Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student sitting their A Levels in Hackney. The student is wheelchair-based and requires assistance with both learning support in the classroom and elements of personal care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to the student during A-Level lessons
- Assist with personal care needs, including manual handling and lifting where required
- Ensure the student can fully access learning and classroom activities
- Work closely with teaching staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in personal care and manual handling (training essential)
- Experience supporting students with additional physical needs preferred
- Professional, reliable, and patient approach
- Able to work effectively in a classroom setting
- Available for an immediate start
