We are currently opening a single network position for an exceptional, mobile Field Service Engineer working on an independent, business-to-business subcontractor basis.

Responsibilities
- Flawless Execution: Execute planned and reactive property maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to an excellent finishing standard.
- Smart Routing Adherence: Utilise our live smartphone system integration to receive, update, and complete localised jobs dispatched directly to your current area.
- Professional Representation: Deliver exceptional, high-integrity communication and punctuality when representing the network on-site with premium residential and B2B commercial clients.
- Self-Certification: Accurately assess works on-site, manage personal tool inventories, and legally sign off/certify completed tasks within your specific trade pathway.
Core Experience depending on your Trade
The Essentials:
- Gas Pathway: Active Gas Safe Registration with a valid core domestic safety certificate.
- Electrical Pathway: Valid Level 3 Electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds/NVQ) and a strong working knowledge of current UK wiring regulations.
- Plumbing Pathway: Valid Plumbing qualification (e.g., City & Guilds Level 2 or 3) with solid hands-on experience in domestic or commercial maintenance.
- Air Conditioning Pathway: Valid Individual F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential for legally handling refrigerants).
- Fire Safety Pathway: Proven, practical experience in fire alarm testing, emergency lighting maintenance, or fire door compliance.
- Multi-Trade / Handyperson Pathways: Strong, verifiable track record in general property fabric repairs, carpentry, or basic commercial maintenance with a premium standard of finishing.
Desirable Upgrades (Can be held now, or acquired while partnering with us):
- Gas: Current CENWAT (Boilers/Water Heaters) appliance modules.
- Electrical: 18th Edition updates (BS 7671:2018+A4:2026) and a Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391).
- Plumbing: G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems certification.
- Air Conditioning & Fire: REFCOM registration, or formal third-party fire credentials (e.g., BAFE, FIA, BM TRADA, FIRAS).
Operational Set-Up Requirements:
- An independent mobile setup, including your own vehicle, comprehensive professional tools, a smartphone for live system integration, and full PPE.
- Active Public Liability Insurance (Minimum £2,000,000).
- A proven track record of operating independently as a self-employed sole trader or micro-business operator.
Pay: From £66,000.00 per year
