The Role
We are seeking a professional, personable, immigration solicitor to join our Chancery Lane office. You will be responsible for managing immigration matters from instruction through to completion, providing clear, practical advice to clients while ensuring full compliance with UK immigration law and regulatory requirements.

What would you be expected to do?
- Managing a caseload of immigration matters, including but not limited to:
- Entry clearance and visa applications
- Leave to remain and indefinite leave to remain
- Sponsorship licences
- Family and private life applications
- EU Settlement Scheme matters
- Appeals and administrative reviews (where authorised)
- Providing accurate, timely, and compliant immigration advice
- Preparing and reviewing applications, representations, and supporting documentation
- Liaising with clients, the Home Office, counsel, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring all files are maintained in accordance with regulatory and firm standards
- Identifying risks and escalating complex or high-risk matters appropriately
- Supporting business development and client conversion where required
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and policy changes
- Complying with all professional, regulatory, and data protection obligations
Person Specification
Essential:
- Solicitor authorised by the SRA
- Proven experience handling UK immigration matters
- Strong knowledge of current UK immigration law and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and professional judgment
Desirable:
- Experience in appeals and complex immigration matters
- Experience working within a regulated legal environment
- Business development or client conversion experience
- Multilingual abilities
